Born in Munich Germany while his parents were on assignment for the United States Air Force, Steve has lived and traveled all over the US. He attended San Jacinto College in Pasadena Texas on a track scholarship, went to The University of Houston and Brigham Young University majoring in business. He moved from Houston Texas to Utah in 1979. Steve took over managing a flailing snack food company in 1985, increased production 800% in just over 4 weeks and helped take the company to over $55,000,000.00 in annual sales in 7 years.

Steve Morrow started in the mortgage industry with Norwest Mortgage in February of 1996 and within the first year was in the top 10% in mortgage originations for the company. He learned mortgages by initially working on loans that his superiors said couldn’t be done. Steve was able to close many of these difficult loans by fervently studying all of the guidelines for FHA, Conventional and VA loans. Steve was very quickly seen as an expert on mortgage rules and guidelines. Mortgage loan officers with many more years of experience would seek his advice on how to structure loans with Nehemiah Grants, Utah Housing Loans, and many other similar programs. Within 3 years of starting in the profession Steve put together a unique computer program that would help Real Estate Agents structure a purchase contract that would allow for a home buyer to come to closing with zero out of pockets costs, enabling agents to have smoother transactions with grant/Utah Housing type programs.

Steve is known for developing a close relationship with his customers and for having an incredible repeat clientele.

Steve is a licensed pilot, and an avid racquetball player. He is a certified High School Volleyball referee and plays volleyball 2-3 evenings per week. When not with clients, in the gym or on the court, Steve can be found riding his bike on the Rio Grande trail that runs through Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties.
