We’re highlighting successful women in real estate!
“Don’t listen when they say “You Can’t”
6 years ago I passed my real estate license exam. I finished the Real Estate Agent Course with a 4 month old, while flipping a home (where I was the designer, tile layer, coordinator, etc.), and also helping my husband with our home technology business.
I share this because as others have said, “if you think you can or think you can’t you are correct.” The sacrifices of time and energy changed the course of our lives and my career. This was just a stepping stone of finding something I’m passionate about and have come to love. In this picture I was just hoping to save us money by selling our flip, but by starting there I learned that I loved helping other’s find a home!
Now I own my own brokerage and have sold Millions of dollars in homes!! So if you have a goal go for it! Life can be exciting and ever changing! Might as well be the writer of your destiny and do what you love! ❤️”

“I have so many relationships I’ve been able to cultivate. Real Estate is so much fun!
It’s great to see them light up, and get excited about being able to own their first home, or whether they are moving up to a bigger home, I love to share that with them. I love to help them achieve the goals they have in real estate.”

“My husband’s business needed a warehouse and we couldn’t find someone to assist us, so we decided to do it ourselves. We always wanted to be investors, and we really enjoyed it! I’ve been the office manager, assisting in our vending business for over 10 years, which included book keeping, accounting, etc. We’ve always been entrepreneurs.
I feel like I jumped in to real estate head first, so I didn’t know anything. Finding the right school was key, and getting a great mentor, Phil Dunn with Great West Properties, was a great fit for me. I’m glad I went straight into commercial real estate, it was definitely the right move for me. Having someone to shadow was a great thing to get me started.
I specialize in retail and industrial commercial real estate, storage units, flex space, warehouses, restaurants, stores, everything from small shoe shops up to massive manufacturing facilities. It keeps me on my toes, and I love learning and helping clients succeed in their businesses.
My advice for new agents is to never stop learning. I love the people, I love the work we do. I love the uniqueness that everyone brings, especially in commercial. I love the engineers, the architects, the developers, and all the professionals in commercial real estate. It’s been a roller coaster, I’ve loved every minute of it! I want to see more women in commercial real estate. I’m adding a team member, I just hired an assistant, we have amazing things coming. This has changed my life!“

“When we bought our first home, we were nervous and scared, we wanted someone to hold our hand, and walk us through all of it. I decided that I wanted to do that for people. So even though we have a growing family, I left my job and got a real estate license, and now it’s been nearly 19 years!
I enjoy watching the ebbs and flows of the market, and learning how to help people through all of it.
I’ve found a lot of people like me that need questions answered in a big transaction like this, and I figured if I have the information, than I can share that with them. I’ve definitely nurtured lots of clients through the process. I know that real estate is emotional, and I love helping people though these huge transactions. It’s emotionally huge for a lot of people.”

“If someone is treating you unkindly, they are probably dealing with some hurt from the past. That has helped me to have some more compassion and understanding.”

After hours, you can find Lynn running up in the mountains, at Orange Theory, the gym, a get together with her friends or maybe even at the office! Lynn LOVES to stay busy and feels her best when she doesn’t have any time for the extras. She believes that “where there’s a will, there’s a way,” and she emulates that in her every day life.
On the weekends, if she isn’t out with clients, you can find her blasting techno music while she organizes her house. However, it isn’t all work for Lynn, she also has a license plate that says “Just Live” and does just that every single day.”

She understands the considerable investment put into real estate and consistently strives to ensure she demonstrates professionalism, knowledge, and dedication while still preserving the fun and excitement of the home buying/selling process. She attributes her success to those that put their trust in her and looks forward to continue selling real estate while building relationships that last a lifetime.
When she isn’t working, Ashlee enjoys being surrounded with family and friends, spending time in the sunshine, camping, and more.”

She has an amazing husband and 4 children whom she loves dearly and 3 of the most adorable grandkids ever. She owns a brokerage – JPAR Silverpath and just started a team, The Genesis Group. She is the second to the youngest of 12 children and loves to laugh.”

I needed flexible hours. It was then that I decided to get my real estate license. Arnold and Marty Stringham were just starting their pre-licensing school. They brought their live classes to Price (where I was living). I think I paid $150.00 and started the classes. I licensed as a Broker in 1989. In 1993 I purchased a local Century 21 office and became a competing principal broker.
After 25 years and a divorce, we sold the company and I experienced burn out for the first time ever.
I moved to Draper and went back to school at the U of U. I am also a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor. Luckily I kept my brokers license! I worked for the VA in Addiction Research. I loved the job but the studies were all grant based studies. An old friend whom I mentored years ago hussled me back in to real estate. That was about 5 years ago.
I love the business again. I will never again let the business interfere with me and my kids and grandkids. I have learned so much over the past 35 years and have never been happier!”

I have been a real estate agent for 8 years and out of those I have been a single mom for 6 years. I have learned what hard work, dedication and determination will do for you. I have been a Top Producing agent in my office the last 4 years selling 50 or more homes a year. I now have a team and love teaching them how to succeed in their own business.
When it comes to my clients, I believe in a philosophy of being authentic “I feel that creating something of value has to be lead first with integrity, which creates a solid foundation to do great work” My passion is to give back to the community and help other people that are struggling to build their real estate career.”

“I have been a Realtor for 5 years and have immersed myself in all things real estate by serving on several committees and organizations. I am currently a chairperson on the Community Outreach Committee, I am also involved in Women’s Council of Realtors, and President Elect 2022. I am a mentor to new agents at my brokerage and I receive production awards each quarter.
Outside of helping my clients find their dream home, my favorite part of being a Realtor is working with all of you! The relationships we build and the respect we have for one another is what sets our industry apart. I feel it is also very important to have that same relationship with our amazing Affiliate Partners. I am passionate about our community and it’s members.”
